Royal Mail Postcode Address File (PAF®)

Postcode Anywhere supplies local and central government with Royal Mail PAF® in several forms - whether as part of a custom solution, an address auto-completion service, or in combination with other datasets such as the NLPG or Address Layer 2 gazetteers.

Ordnance Survey MasterMap® ITN Web Services

From simple point-to-point distance and route planning calculations to complex route optimisation, Postcode Anywhere's OS MasterMap® Integrated Transport Network Layer web services allow LGAs to hook into and access powerful services built on the OS data made available to them under the Pan Government and Mapping Services Agreement.

The route optimisation web service re-sequences a set of locations to obtain the shortest route that visits them all - cutting journey times, fuel costs and carbon emissions by over 20% in most cases.

MyServices

Dynamic development tools currently being used by organisations such as Severn Trent and the LSC, MyServices make it easy for developers to host, maintain and build web-based services around their own data. MyServices allow data to be kept it in one central repository - then offer coding and fast development tools to allow web services to be created around it in minutes rather than months.

MyTables allows manipulation of static data which has been uploaded to Postcode Anywhere's MyServices platform, while MyFeeds actually allows developers to build services around dynamic, self-hosted data that updates in real-time.

MyServices supports all standard SQL types, and now also supports importing from ESRI Shape files (such as lines and polygons) along with a wide range of custom GIS functions, to enable spatial searching of MyServices. Users can store shapes and perform operations on them within MyTables or MyFeeds, including point and polygon searching, distance searching, and a range of other custom functions. This feature is particularly suited to GIS applications and in mapping out boundaries and territories. All results support on-the-fly coordinate resolution reduction to enable zoom layering and coordinate conversion (e.g. between OS easting / northing and latitude / longitude).
