What is the GEO event?

PV Publications has now entered its third decade of organising the UK's only annual geospatial trade exhibition. We work closely with the geospatial industry to create an event that attracts an average of 500 - 700 visitors through the door over two days.

The GEO event is completely free to attend, attracts up to 40 exhibitors each year and delivers a packed programme of free seminars, live product demos and, of course, great networking opportunities, including a Gala Evening of good food and fun.

GEO-12 will build on this past success to again deliver an event that provides exhibitors with a fantastic return on their investment, and visitors with a productive, informative and worthwhile day out.

Readers of Geomatics World will be familiar with "Mr Downundercurrents", John Brock. John has been presenting his "Hollywood Movie Surveyors Spectacular!" presentation for many years. This is a hilarious presentation of film and video clips from feature movies, TV series and adverts that feature surveying in some way, usually inappropriate, innaccurate or totally daft (e.g. John Wayne fighting Indians with a tripod).
